Y'know, it's funny. Before, I HATED driving. Hated it like burning...BUT NOW that I have my license, I... actually kinda like driving? Strange... Well, it's probably because before, I would have to drive with someone (usually dad) and I felt like they were judging me and my driving ability. Which I guess was point of the behind-the-wheel and driving test, BUT STILL. Now, it's like, liberating to have the ability to go wherever I want, whenever I want within reason . Liek totally. /valley girl.
On a completely unrelated note, a major irrational pet peeve of mine is when someone (usually a writer) describes a dark-haired man as a brunette. Uh, the -ette suffix is indicative of a female (or something small). Like in Smurfette. Really. This mini-rant wasn't even sparked by anything specific, it just popped into my head randomly (like most things do) as I was about to fall asleep last night.
On another, even more unrelated note, there's this show on sci-fi channel called "The Scariest Places on Earth" which I can't take seriously for several reasons, not the least of which being the narrator reminds me of that dwarf medium from "Poltergeist". And I keep expecting her(?) to say, "Don't go into the light, Carol Anne!" (or something) and being vaguely disappointed when she doesn't. I'm also wary of any show where the people go on about "demons" or "spiritual vortices" (extra points if they say "vortexes") it just sounds like something out of a bad horror movie. *eyeroll* |

Yeeeh. I can't make myself watching something called "The Scariest Places on Earth". Something like that can't be anything other than dumb. Hurry up, March, and bring us the new Ghost Hunters season!
I wasn't actively watching it, it just happened to be what was on the tv downstairs. :| | |
