Mnnnuurrggh. Idontwannagraduate!*sobwhinesniffle* I'm not readyyyyyy..... My demo reel is gonna suck (okayokay, it won't suck but it's not going to measure up to my exceedingly high standards. It just isn't. Because I expect too much of myself.) >:( Aaaand it also doesn't help that I suffered from an attack of the INSUFFERABLE LAZINESS last quarter....<---WHICH IS SO NOT AN EXCUSE.

Augh. This should not be so difficult. Digital Portfolio is my only class this quarter, and yet, what do I have done for it? Forty measly seconds. Forty. (It's supposed to be ninety seconds to two minutes). Some of the other people's reels are looking pretty sweet. They all have waaayy more stuff than I do. (Okay, most of them do, not all.) Then I get to thinking, (a dangerous pastime) and I wonder if maybe my laziness is just my subconscious trying to tell me something. Like maybe animation isn't for me after all. But! I don't wanna do anything else! I know that some people who like to draw are all like, "Wow, I could not stand drawing the same thing over and over and over. That's why I'm in Graphic design/photography etc." I may be unique in this, but I actually enjoy animating when I get off my lazy ass and DO it. I work best with motivation. And by motivation, I mean competition. But, like, what if my best isn't good enough? I want a job where I can just draw ALL DAY. And get paid. For drawing. I don't care if I have to start out as a lowly inbetweener. Dammit. I PAID for four years of freaking training in animation and I'll be dammed if I'm going to spend the rest of my life flipping burgers or something. Burger-flipping's fine for a part-time job, but I don't wanna make a CAREER out of it. Sheesh.

*Deep breath*

And I NEED to get out of this house. It feels like I'm stagnating. Stagnating like water left too long in one of those old tires. (You know the ones I'm talking about. Nurseries for mosquito-larvae?) I don't wanna stagnate! I hate mosquitoes! But I'm afraid if I don't jump in RIGHT NOW I'll never have the courage to do it! Real world: why do you have to frighten me so? Bah. You can always gauge how emotional I am by the gratuitous use of italics. And horrible grammar. More-so than usual.

Okay, yeah. I feel better after venting about it. And probably making it seem worse than it really is.

Okay, so a certain video game series often features outfits for their  characters that make absolutely no logical sense. Other than looking cool, of course. So I thought "I wanna draw something non-practical too!"
